The Manor Village at Huntington Hills:

We knew our mum would enjoy more time to be around family. We were impressed with the tour and the amenities as well as the ability to stay in her own apartment if needing assisted living. Shaun, the executive director has been great at communicating with not only the residents but the families as well. Navigating seasonal illness outbreaks as a community and his professionalism and sensitivity to the needs of the residents is commendable. We can’t say enough good things about the whole team at The Manor at Huntington Hills, living up to the concept of Dignified Living.

I would like to say first off all of the rooms are very large compared to other facilities I have seen. The warm welcome you receive from staff and other residents when you walk in makes it feel like home. The food is very good and the dining room staff are always ready to please you. I was touched that they called you by your first name from day one. There are a lot of activities to keep you busy. I am happy to call Huntington Hills Manor my home.

I have been living at the Manor for over 7 years. This is a wonderful place to live. Staff is wonderful and always have smiles when they interact with you. Meals are very tasty, with many options. There are many activities and lots of bus tours. A car is not needed, bus takes you on bank runs, grocery shopping and mall shopping. We use Uber to take you to appointments, etc. For me this truly is my home.

My mom has been at the Manor for almost 10 years and the care and compassion of the staff; Director, Wellness Director, LPN's, personal support workers and cleaning staff is wonderful! It's a beautiful building with lovely suites and if you are lucky enough to retire there or receive assisted living or any other kind of care at the Manor you are fortunate indeed.

I remember my grandmother fearing the day she would end up “in a home.” Skipping two generations, it’s a totally different experience now for me than it would have been for her. At the Manor I value being able to have lunch and dinner with friends—and not have to face the dishes. Hang out with the lads (grown-up version) and gab while we play snooker. Reminisce as we sample craft beer curated by our Activity Director. Get the blood flowing with stretch and flex at morning exercises. Join a game of trivia or bingo. Bridge night. Book Club. And the privacy I can enjoy when I just want to make myself a snack, stretch out on my recliner and read a novel

I like many other seniors/residents went through the changes with COVID. Changes I had were listless - constant tiredness, slow down in activity, all the stuff we experience while we age. I was very fortunate to receive help from the managers, they suggested I work on gaining some more weight, and get more active. Thank you for your help and encouragement which I feel has been helping me. I got into a program where you get lunch and dinner provided to you daily, which I feel is working. I have attended many social events at Huntington Hills, such as the community games and holiday fun days. The staff is amazing and everyone is smiling and very happy. Keep up the good work Huntington Hills your community is the best.
