The Manor Village at Garrison Woods:

Our mother moved in here 12 years ago. This place has been very good for her. In the first few years, she engaged in activities and was able to meet many very nice people. As she has aged and slowed down considerably, the staff have done everything they can do to assist her. The people working here are very caring and compassionate towards the clients. I witness this all the time. Especially lately as Mom has slowed significantly. Thank you to the Wellness Centre staff at The Manor Village at Garrison Woods. You have made a wonderful difference for our Mother.

The Manor Village of Garrison Woods is truly a community with heart - a warm & welcoming place with staff and residents. Mom has been a resident for 2.5 years and is grateful for the tremendous care she receives from all personnel, from Reception to Dining Room to Wellness, etc. A huge shout out & appreciative thanks to Tanya & Beth who have been with mom from Day 1 of her arrival at the Manor. Both have gone above & beyond to make sure mom is comfortable & well-taken care of. Outstanding dedication, especially during trying times of COVID outbreaks & other challenging circumstances, Tanya & Beth always have smiling faces & put mom's needs first. Care, compassion, humour, respect for mom and her wishes, even joining in songs and advocating for her when necessary, my brothers & I are so impressed with the thorough care, kindness & thoughtfulness that Tanya & Beth always provide. Definitely a 5-star team!

My husband and I did a tour of your lovely facility last Friday and we were so impressed. The residents all seemed so happy and busy. Karen was such a kind and understanding person, she knew we were just starting our journey and had some wondereful insights and gave us some tools to find the perfect place for our Mom. We also met Crystal who planned a lunch for us and both Karen and Crystal seeemed to be liked by every resident we saw. Truly a home away from home. Thank you ladies and Manor Village Garrison Woods for providing a very viable possibilty for a home for Mom. Now I just have to decide. Lori

My parents just moved in here. The property manager was super pleasant and informative we had a great tour a few months ago. My parents have a nice big unit and are really looking forward to the people here. They are just driving their behicle across from Ontario now and are looking forward to settling in fully.

We love coming here as a family for lunch to visit my dad. The service and food are great. The staff in the dining room and kitchen are absolute gems.

My mother Dorothy lived at The Manor at Garrison Woods for about 5 years until her recent move to Staywell. I cannot say enough about the kind and caring staff at the Manor. I particularly want to thank Dawn, Tanya, Siya and Thea, who cared for my mom as if she was part of their families. They all did the expected things, but then went far beyond my expectations in not only caring for her health, but with love and affection. I know how much my mom valued their friendship, and what a difference it made to me knowing she was in such good hands. I also want to thank Jonah Suezo, the Wellness Director, and Karen Shippey-Hellman, the Director, for everything they did. I highly recommend The Manor at Garrison Woods, not only because it is a nice facility, and because everyone makes an extra effort to make it feel like home, but because of the exceptional loving care from the staff.

I am a personal friend and caregiver of a resident who lives at The Manor Village at Garrison Woods. It really is a welcoming community. I have positive experiences with the staff of all departments. I feel the community is very fortunate to have Wellness Services on site. The wellness staff are very kind and caring individuals. I would like to acknowledge 2 wellness staff in particular who always go above and beyond in the care they provide. Tanya & Beth always have a smile even when faced with challenges like outbreaks. Tanya & Beth are respectful, thoughtful, positive and good listeners. Tanya & Beth are willing to find suitable resolutions if there is a problem. These qualities are reassuring for the resident and family members. Tanya & Beth even make time to have a little fun with my friend making her feel at ease and comfortable. Tanya & Beth definitely deserves 5 stars
