As the first initiative of its type in Ontario, The Manor Village Life Centers has created elegant and the highest quality accommodation and support for seniors, on the third and fourth floors directly above the AMG London medical clinic.
Our retirement home in London is specifically designed to meet the needs of active seniors looking for varying levels of support, whether for independent living with assistance, enhanced care, or specialized memory care.

At the Manor Villages, we provide an elegant Lifestyle Experience® for those who wish an active, rewarding lifestyle, without the worries of maintaining a home.
The children have moved out, now it’s time to focus on what you want and need. For many, that means less time on the continual requirements of home maintenance and general upkeep, and more time enjoying themselves. Relocating to single level Independent Living at The Manor Village Life Centers is the perfect way to free up time the time to work on that bucket list.
Those who love to travel, enjoy the peace of mind of lock ‘n leave security and maintenance-free living. Those who prefer to stay closer to home find the various Manor Village programs help maintain vitality with wellness – key components in preserving independence.
ASSISTED LIVING
At the Manor Villages, we provide an elegant Lifestyle Experience® with additional care services tailored to our Residents’ needs.
Assisted Living at The Manor Villages includes caring, well trained Nurses and Certified Personal Care Aides specializing in the needs of seniors; along with programs to support daily living requirements. Skilled staff onsite twenty-four hours a day, gives peace of mind to both our Residents and their families.
Besides three tasty and nutritious meals prepared by our chefs each day; we also provide housekeeping, linen service, suite maintenance and transportation.
Socialization is encouraged through morning stretch and flex classes and daily entertainment programs specifically designed to help avoid memory loss with aging and to make life more interesting. Offsite excursions to compelling and fun locations are well attended by our residents.
ENHANCED PERSONAL CARE
Our quality enhanced care for comfortable senior living is more than just nourishing cuisine or entertaining activities — our caring, specially trained staff is here to help with even advanced care requirements.
Skilled Nursing staff and associates provide 24/7 assistance, enabling an atmosphere of calmness and comfort that promotes dignity, as well as a compassionate environment for treatment therapy, medication reviews, and a wide range of daily living services.
Our dignity-for-life programs are based on facilitating health issues such as stroke or respiratory illness or Parkinsons'. We can even help with pre/post joint replacement surgery care, whether it is for a short or long-term stay.
Our focus is always Adding Life to Years™ by helping those who can recover do so as quickly as possible, as well as maintaining a dignified life for those requiring long term assistance.

MEMORY CARE
Our Hearts Memory Care lifestyle provides a safe and secure environment for those residents requiring guidance in a secure, structured and/or supportive neighborhood.
Residents with cognitive decline require a special environment that is not only secure but engaging. Research shows memory loss with aging can be reduced with stimulating activities that help mitigate wandering, aggression and restlessness, which can result in slowing the aging process.
Residents with mobility issues can attend our morning stretch and flex programs, which are followed by calming and de-stressing with mindful meditation videos. A little later they are encouraged to engage in social activities which can help slow cognitive decline and reduce reliance on medications.

PALLIATIVE CARE
At The Manor Village Life Centers, as well as through the Academy of Aging; we offer exceptional palliative care in Calgary to our Residents using the principles of dignity, hope, comfort, quality of life and relief of suffering.
When palliative care becomes necessary, Residents and their families prefer the familiarity of the supportive staff and cuisine at the Manor Villages, plus the guest suites are convenient for visiting family members.
Palliative Care services seek to improve a person’s quality of life once a chronic condition is diagnosed. It then continues until end of life and into family bereavement and care of the body.

For Our Hearts Memory Care Residents, we offer additional, tailor-made activities such as music therapy to stimulate memories, feelings, and sensations. This has been found to be particularly beneficial for older adults with various types of dementia. There is also a regular indoor fitness program plus daily opportunities (weather permitting) for outdoor fitness opportunities such as gardening, walks in local parks and exercise classes!
